A Rich History
Skincare Journey
For you history buffs, the crambe abyssinian plant has origins in the Ethiopian highlands. Through the years, it has spread to the Mediterranean and naturally adapted to colder and drier regions. Now, this hearty plant is grown in Atlantic Canada.

Extraction Process
Our oil extraction process is done by pressing the seeds without the use of chemicals. The remainder of the plant is rich in nutrients and is used as animal feed and is also re-cultivated back into the soil as fertilizer.
Abyssinian oil is great for both your skin and the environment.
Truly Unique
Abyssinian oil has a unique molecular structure that is is chemically closest to the natural oils produced by our skin. Abyssinian oil has concentrations of over 60% of C22 omega-9 long-chain fatty acids as well as C18 omega-6 and omega-9, which are much higher than in any other natural oil, including Argan oil.
